I have just fixed a potentially troublesome bug in PatchKit that makes products that are packaged on a Windows server incompatible with Unix versions of tar. I was (incorrectly) using os.path.join, which inserts '\' in paths, but on Unix this does not create a file in a subdirectory, just a file with a long, strange name.
