I'm pleased to announce the 1.0 release candidate 1 of CMFUrlSkinSwitcher (for CMF and Plone). It can be used to switch between two (or more) skins depending on the location part of the url. The tool is widly configurable. The default configuration switches between two skin based on the subdomain of the url: * edit.yourdomain.com --> editor skin (usually the plone management interface) * everything_except_edit.yourdomain.com --> visitor skin (your or your customers CI) For those developing on localhost the factory configuration includes: * 127.0.0.1 --> editor skin * localhost --> visitor skin Although installing the tool under Plone should not affect running sites, do a test install in a development sandbox! Don't forget to enable skin switching through the tools ZMI config pages.
