Photo (and Photo Folder) 1.2.0 has been released. You can download it from Zope.org at http://www.zope.org/Members/rbickers/Photo/, or from Source Forge at http://sourceforge.net/projects/zopephoto/. The most significant change from prior releases is the addition of WebDAV/FTP support. You can now transfer Photos to and from Zope using WebDAV and FTP. The documentation does not yet include this feature, so here's the short version: New image files uploaded to a Photo Folder will be created as a Photo object and will use the default settings and properties provided by the Photo Folder. With the timely release of Zope 2.4.2 (which fixes some WebDAV problems), uploading new Photos will now work with Dreamweaver's WebDAV. It will also work with prior versions of Zope if you use FTP. When you upload to an existing Photo via WebDAV/FTP, all displays are regenerated using the current settings. When you download a Photo, only the original image is transferred. There is also a change in the way Photo settings are stored which requires a simple upgrade process. See UPGRADE.txt for details.
