ZEO Clients, broken servers, and Z2.pid

As far as I can see, ZEO clients don't write a pid to Z2.pid until after they've successfully connected to a storage. Is there a reason for this? Ta, Anthony

Probably not. It's nothing to do with ZEO, z2.py does an 'import Zope' before it writes the z2.pid file. -Michel
