migrating Sandbox/janwijbrand/importchecker to github/zopefoundation(?)
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I'd like to make a few improvements in the importchecker tool (originally written by Martijn Faassen, packaged by me, currently living in svn.zope.org/Sandbox/janwijbrand/importchecker, available here https://pypi.python.org/pypi/importchecker/1.1). Ideally this repo should first move to github. Questions: * I think I can do the move using the little tool hinted at here: https://mail.zope.org/pipermail/zope-dev/2013-March/045362.html * Is the importchecker package something "worthy" to live under the zopefoundation "organisation" on github? Should I rather make it into a project living under my own user account (I guess I can't, license-wise). Thanks in advance for any pointers! regards, jw -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG/MacGPG2 v2.0.22 (Darwin) Comment: GPGTools - https://gpgtools.org Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iEYEARECAAYFAlQ/mToACgkQGmkaU9jnIiF4xwCgji+wgzYA2+hzHqqJ298gYQCM Qn4An1vNJ9AKlGZtvUYMly2xrAsDGOwL =KuBP -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

Yup.
* Is the importchecker package something "worthy" to live under the zopefoundation "organisation" on github?
I'm sure it's worthy. :)
Should I rather make it into a project living under my own user account (I guess I can't, license-wise).
Whatever you wish is fine IMO. Jim -- Jim Fulton http://www.linkedin.com/in/jimfulton

The script worked flawlessly and I migrated it first to my own user account. I then transferred the importchecker repository over to the zopefoundation org account.
