get_request() and GlobalRequestPatch
I just looking in to some products (Localizer/ZBabel) that uses get_request from the GlobalRequestPatch. Is this still necessary or are there any more modern solutions to this patch (that is quite old)? Wow, didn't know anything was still dependent on this hack I wrote (kinda scary). To my knowledge and Stephan's, there was no way around this due the the __getattr__ requirements... but that may be different now. Stephan?
