No, it didnīt work. So I decided to screw around and try an url instead of the ip. It liked that. Mabye it didnīt clear poundīs checks, or possibly a problem with vhm.

will *always* succeed. The real validation of your credentials against the
current object//folder will happen at the moment you access the object
but not at login time.
