Hi,

 

I installed zope 2.8.0 on a windows 2000 workstation. I used the file zope-2.8.0-fin al-win32.exe, installed the zope windows service and installed a zope instance.

 

Since there are other zope version running on my pc I changed the port to 8083 by setting the port-base to 3 in the file zope.conf of the zope instance\etc directory

 

When starting zope on http://localhost:8083/ I get no response.

 

When I look to the windows zope service it starts not always automatically.

 

Could there by a problem with the zope service of windows or the there another problem with zope 2.8.0 on windows?
