Actually most of the support will be via XML-RPC, but not all. Some calls will
use DC's Client.py (over HTTP so it should not be a problem) as some of the
Zope API calls require keyword arguments which XML-RPC does not support.
The important thing is that FTP is dropped completely.

Hmmm, Boa provides the IDE framework in which the Zope support plugs in.
Is this framework idea of yours discussed on the ZFC list?

Please check out Boa to get an idea of what is already done. The ZOA branch
has been merged with the current Boa and I hope to update the CVS tree
by the end of next week.
