My initial OS-motivated reaction would be: Hm, other people contributing to 
the project get less visibility.

From a practical perspective: Heck, a Windows installer is better than none at 
all.

So why don't combine the two? :-) Let's have an installer page that lists the 
credits, including developers and the line above for the installer.

Just a thought. But +1 on the above anyways.
