[ZF] Foundation goals survey

Dear Zope Foundation member,

The board is requesting input from the foundation membership about the
goals of the Zope Foundation.

Traditionally the foundation holds the intellectual property of the Zope 
code and
related libraries released under the Zope Public License (ZPL).

Do you believe the foundation's role should be limited to this intellectual
property placeholder?

Or can you think of other goals you wish the foundation would pursue?

Some random possibilities are:

1) fund specific critical development efforts
2) fund targeted Zope sprints
3) fund a Zope Conference, either standalone or with another
4) fund the creation of documentation showing Zope's capabilities
5) encourage further porting of Zope onto Python 3
6) cleanup and organize a Zope Consultant/Training resource
7) commission and maintain a roster of Zope usergroups
8) some kind of joint/merged effort with the Plone Foundation
9) other ideas you have

In this case, would you volunteer to act within the foundation?
