[Grok-dev] the grok reference

Hi there,

A recent discussion made again the point that we should have a Grok 
reference.

I don't think such a reference should be auto-generated. The reference 
should be carefully written, though auto-generation might in some cases 
help create a skeleton.

I know both Uli and Jan-Wijbrand worked on a reference in the past, but 
the effort seems to be stuck.

Any ideas how to un-stick it?
