Well, it's relatively simple if you know WSGI and are using  
deployment tools like paste.deploy (there's zope.paste which provides  
paste ingration for Zope 3). Of course, it gets more complicated when  
you want to do things in a generic way. That's when "frameworks" like  
deliverance come into play.

The folks at OpenPlans are actively using paste and deliverance to  
skin third party apps, some of which are Zope apps. This is  
definitely worth something to explore,
