I think I like this better. To increase the contrast, would it be
possible to experiment with icons that have the darker grey line around
them like with the rocks around the fire? I'm not sure whether this can
be done nicely, but it might make the icons stand out more.

I think it would also be fine if we made the Grok stand out more by
changing the color from the grey to something else. In general my
feedback would be: more colors! :)

Do you intend to keep those icons on the right side? This might crowd
the text a bit much if you keep the left sidebar as well. I'm in favor
of just having one sidebar, to give the text some room. I like how on
the current side the text gets quite a bit of horizontal space without
much in the way to distract, which makes for easier reading, I think.

If we need other pictures of Grok, I can ask Felicia (my wife) who drew
the original ones. Kevin Teague has also drawn a few nice ones. Just let
me know what you'd like in terms of fitting in with the web design.

On the colors and the caveman:

A bit of green here and there perhaps? The Grok picture uses yellow,
brown, green, pink and grey, so it might make sense to coordinate those
with the design elements. I'd keep pink confined to the images though.

Martijn
