Are you filing this for post 1.0? We have a near immediate need for this
at Georgia Tech. If this is not going to be fixed relatively soon, we
will have to hack around it, which is less preferable to us.

Of course, we are happy to create an issue in launchpad if one has not
already been created. We will create one on Friday if we do not hear on
the list that one has already been created.
