Not without hacking mailman code, which is both hard to do, and
impossible to deploy, as I don't have root access on mail.zope.org

Moderating new posters sucks, but it sucks less than having the list
taken over by spammers (lot of the sourceforge lists lately, as a horrid
counter-exampmle).
