The martian changes don't affect the 0.11 branch at all. Those changes 
are related to the viewletmanager work we're doing.

Reading this I realized though that we just made some martian changes 
that make the trunk break
(the snowsprint-viewlets2 branch does work).

I'm going to check in some fixes for this.
