[Grok-dev] Off topic: Performance of Sqlite3 vs. Zodb

I tested the stormcontainer Christian Klinger created in order to  
compare the performance of persisting a python object to Zodb vs.  
Sqlite3 (using the orm Storm).

I was surprised to find that Zodb was 20 times faster (but obviously  
growing quite rapidly in size during the process) than Sqlite3. This  
was a sursprise to me, but I wonder if this is what one would expect?
