[Grok-dev] User Group Management & Authentication

Hi All,
Well I've come a long ways quickly with grok. I truly appreciate the work
that has gone into this project and the generous help I have received on
IRC. You guys are great.

I see time and again people expressing the need for grok to have a basic but
customizable/pluggable user group management UI. I've discussed this with
whit on IRC and while I could probably roast this, it would take me much
longer than most of you and I can't guarantee what I come up with would be
best practices...

My suggestion today is that we subsidize one of grok's core developers for
accelerated development of this feature. My colleagues and I can contribute
some initial funding and I hope others, especially newcomers who are sensing
how useful grok can be to their business, will also pony up to move this
effort along.
