Hello, Tim,
There's a very active Python community in Brazil, and the FISL is one
of our main yearly gatherings (the other is our national PyCon, in
September).
The Brazilian Python Association (APyB) runs a Python trac in FISL,
and usually there are quite a few other Python-relatead talks in other
tracs as well. Leo Rochael (another member of this list) and I are
board members of the APyB. We also have a booth at FISL, so we are
easy to find.
We have many Zopistas in our Python community because our federal
government is a heavy user of Plone, and even some Grok users. We had
two Grok talks in our PyCon in 2007. We will be delighted to have you
here.
Cheers,
Luciano
