[Grok-dev] How do I add Python 2.6 support to Grok?

Ok, beginning on 2.5.
First issue is that 317081 seems to still affect this (and seems to be
a duplicate of 315223).
Also, I'm having a problem downloading the eggbasket, and it may be
related to 315215. I get this error:
eggbasket: No correct tarball found at
http://grok.zope.org/releaseinfo/grok-eggs-1.0a1.tgz.
eggbasket: The error was: empty, unreadable or compressed file: invalid header
And temp dir removal also doesn't work (315227).
The implication I've seen is that plenty of these may be fixed
already, perhaps it would be good to release another alpha?
