svn.zope.org is not allowed to contain GPL licensed code.

The simplest thing for you to do would be to simply maintain this code 
somewhere else (code.google.com, for instance), and then release to pypi 
from there. Give the whole Python package a GPL license so it's clear to 
everybody.
