[Grok-dev] Grok should run on python 2.6

Who is able to sketch the effort to make Grok available on Python 2.6  -
i remember it took me half a day to patch the eggs to run on Python 2.6
a year ago ( http://blog.d2m.at/2008/10/03/from-the-labs/ ).

Lets do it now and make it a Grok 1.1 release.
