[Grok-dev] status of Grok 1.1rc1 on Windows?

Hi there,

We still have some tasks:

* pick up on the script that Baiju posted to create an actual list of 
those dependencies of grok that need to be compiled on Windows (for 
Python 2.4 to Python 2.6), or provide another way to make such a list. 
We could include this in the zopetoolkit so we can easily check.

* actually generate the list of those versions where we need windows 
eggs. (32 bit and 64 bit?)

* ask Hanno or whoever to actually build these eggs for us, giving him a 
list. We don't want to provide people with such a list on a drip feed, 
we just want to present them with: "we'd like these eggs, please" and 
give the whole list.

* test Grok 1.1rc1 on Windows with Python 2.4, Python 2.5 and Python 
2.6. Does it install? Does it work?

Is anyone willing to drive all this? That doesn't mean they need to do 
all this themselves, but it does mean they need to organize whoever *is* 
willing to help and finally report back to us here to say: okay, Grok 
1.1rc1 works on Windows, or "okay, we have this problem, please help".
