[Grok-dev] dependencies missing needed for Grok 1.1 backwards compatibility

Mootools does this and it is quite neat if one wants to bring an old  
project up to speed. It is not allways one has the luxury of updating  
the code, but one might want to upgrade for security fixes or a nice  
new feature.

If it is only dependencies then I am

   +1 on this

but if it is about writing a compatibility layer, I think it is too  
early considering the limited developer resources at hand.
