Your poking at a sore spot... :-)

The "official" documention is managed with the source code. Some 
explanation for that part of the documentation process can be found here:

   http://grok.zope.org/doc/current/README.html

The "contributed" documentation is maintained here:

   https://bitbucket.org/jhsware/grok-doc

The "sore" part is in that we are stuck half way a migration from the 
Plone-based grok.zope.org website to a much simpler, Sphinx-based 
website for grok, that would mainly contain the afformentiond 
documentation. This process became stuck because lack of time.
