Hey, Stephen, It might be better to take this up on zope-dev, where we're quite concerned with reducing dependencies on a range of Zope packages, which might include zope.schema. While I don't promise anything will be done (zope.event *is* very small), it might prompt some more discussion. Regards, Martijn
