      You can define macros with tag attributes similar to TAL
      statements. Macro tag attributes are called Macro Expansion Tag
      Attribute Language (METAL) statements.  Here's an example macro
      definition::

        <p metal:define-macro="copyright">
          Copyright 2001, <em>Foo, Bar, and Associates</em> Inc.
        </p>
