---------------
Zope Corporation doesn't make Zope available in RPM format, but
other people do. Jeff Rush regularly packages Zope as RPMs. For
more information check out his "web page
(http://www.taupro.com/Downloads/Zope/)":http://www.taupro.com/Downloads/Zope/.
Zope is also available in the Debian Linux *deb* package
format. You can find Zope deb packages at the "Debian web
site":http://packages.debian.org/zope site. Generally the latest
Zope releases are found in the *unstable* distribution.

FreeBSD: # cd /usr/ports/www/zope; make install

When you install zope using RedHat a rpm, where does it hide the install script?
% Anonymous User - July 3, 2002 12:10 am:
The zope rpms are always out of date and even the latest of redhat does not have the required rpms to install
nor the proper version of python. Best to install from binary.

Why not officially distributing it like an OpenPackage for Unix platforms(http://www.openpkg.org/) It's a
very serious project and is actually supported by companies like Cable&Wireless and Sun Microsystem.
