[Zope-ZEO] ZODB as a standalone server

ppml.py (part of Zope) expresses a format for storing Python objects as XML.
It's the format used by the XML export routines.

Also, David Mertz put up a DTD for Python objects as XML at
http://www-4.ibm.com/software/developer/library/xml-matters1/?dwzone
