[ZODB-Dev] Curious question about data.fs

Hello list

Is it possible to configure zope to point to multiple data.fs in the 
operating system. In other words how do we spread the data files to multiple 
directories and use them as a single object database.

Like we have one tablespace  pointing to different datafiles in some RDBMS.
