[ZODB-Dev] Pack using loads of RAM on FileStorage

Hi,

While on the subject of excessive RAM usage, I have mentioned this before, but
has anyone else noticed packing FileStorage's taking up loads of RAM?

IIRC, Jim said it shouldn't but I've experienced it definitely doing so.

I'm currently trying to pack the previously mentioned 4GB Data.fs and the RAM
usage has grown from abotu 100Mb to 650Mb currently, and rising.

I also know we have exactly the same problem whenever we try to pack any of the
FreeZope servers.

Any ideas?
