Oh yeah, BDBFullStorage is the whole-ball-o'-wax storage, all-singing,
all-dancing, full undo and versions.

BDBMinimalStorage is a no-undo, no-versions storage which sounds like
what you're looking for.

In ZODB 4, there are two memory-based storages built on the Berkeley
storages, providing both full and minimal versions, but of course, no
persistency.
