Beats me!

I see the same md5 sum.  I checked the contents of the tarball with a
fresh one I built from a CVS checkout.  The file size of the checkout
version is slightly different but the contents match exactly.  (The md5
sum of the new tarball is different than either of the other sums.)

Should we just update the page?
