[ZODB-Dev] Is there an official patch for the problems with packing and data loss?

Hi!

Is there an official patch for the problems with loosing data during (or 
after) packing that many people experience with Zope 2.6.1 (and ZEO in 
most cases)?

I remember that a bugfix release was planned quite a while ago. Most 
people are not willing to install a Zope version from CVS to fix a bug 
of that kind.

So there SHOULD be a new 2.6.x bugfix release I think.

This is a very important issue that should be addressed with a high 
priority. People really get scared about ZODB ... - I for myself don't 
trust it any more :-(
