[ZODB-Dev] _use_fixed_oids_

Hello

I'm using APE 0.8.1 and noticed that all my Folders and folder-like objects 
have an '_use_fixed_oids_' attribute (which gets pickled as 'remainder' 
because nobody appears to know about it)
I can't see any reference to this attribute in the current APE sources, but 
searching with Google I found some old references in previous releases of APE.
May I safely ignore/delete this attribute everywhere?
