You should be able to open an old FileStorage under 3.3 without problems.
Unless you have ExtensionClass-based objects, in which case I'm not sure.
ExtensionClass doesn't ship with ZODB 3.3.  It does (will) ship with Zope
2.8.  So if you have Zope 2.8, it's possible it will Just Work -- I don't
know for sure.  If you don't have Zope 2.8, but do have old
ExtensionClass-based objects, that Can't Work.  Let's hope somebody with
that problem shares the clean solution they come up with <wink>. 

Maybe a migration conversion script would be useful.  But given that the
first 3.3 alpha release was more than a year ago, and concerns about
migrating ExtensionClass objects have been conspicuous by absence on
zodb-dev the whole time, it's hard to know how many people care.  I expect
they'll care a lot more when Zope 2.8 threatens to become "real", though.
Right now, I have nothing to offer.
