Log Message:
Backed out 2.2 cycle patches to PCGI that were added to support Jeff 
Rush's RPM distribution - there have been a lot of reports of 
instability on certain platforms. We'll try to readd the patches at 
a later time once the issues are worked out and some platform coverage 
testing is done.
