[Zope-PTK] PTK CVS Structure

OK, looking at a recent checkout, I see something a bit confusing.

There are the following directories at top level:

CVS  LoginManager  Membership  PTKBase  PTKDemo  ZCallable  ZopePTK
and then in ZopePTK:

CVS  LoginManager  Membership  PTKBase  PTKDemo  ZCallable

What's up? 
Are they the same files? If so, why duplicate?
Are they different? If so, which is the current one, and why is the other one there?
