I posted the following to Newbies discussion and then thought it might =
be more appropiate for this list:
I dont seem to be able to import DemoPortal.zexp file from Control =
Panel/Products/ import window. It gives
an error message that "No module named Python method.Python =
method could be found". What is puzzling is
that I can verify through Windows Explorer that both =
Wizard.zexp and DemoPortal.zexp are on my local
Program Files /Zope/import directory. I had no trouble =
importing Wizard.zexp file from the same Control
Panel/Products import window.It gave confirmation of =
successful Wizard import.Yet the DemoPortal.zexp
import wont work after numerous tries. I tried turning =
server on/off, new browser, different user, reloaded the
DemoPortal.zexp file to the import directory, always the =
same error message.For DemoPortal.zexp windows
explorer shows it to be zexp file, 340 kb. last modified =
11/15/00, so at least it is getting id from file. I am new
Zope user. Had no trouble installing Zope on Windows 98 and =
no trouble with basic DTML pages so I
decided to try downloading PTK. No trouble til the above =
import error stopped me cold. Help anyone?
I had downloaded the 0.9.2 Bugfix release. Everything went according to =
install instructions til I hit above problem. I thought maybe I didnt =
need DemoPortal.zexp . In Add list I have a Portal folder but not a =
portal choice. I tried adding PTK Base folders to Portal folder but =
nothing happened.
