When is your deadline?

PTK is evolving software, and over the next few months, it will be
changing a lot from where it is now.

If you don't have the skills in-house to hack the PTK source, then I
would not recommend it for a short deadline project where you're
learning about Zope and DTML at the same time.

However, if your project is for a longer term, and you'll want to add in
custom content types later, and have your own workflow that may be more
complex then submit-review-publish, then perhaps PTK is for you.

You could prototype your application using something other than PTK,
with the intention of moving it to PTK when PTK is more evolved, and as
your application becomes more complex.

You might want to ask the questions that are not specific to PTK on the
zope@zope.org list, as they are general Zope issues, and more people
read the zope@zope.org list.
