[Zope-PTK] Status update

   The OMG is working on a standard interface definition for workflows.  
   The RFP, "UML Extensions for Workflow Process Definition RFP", is available 
   at http://www.omg.org/cgi-bin/doc?bom/2000-12-11
   The interesting stuff starts with the statement of problem in section 6.0.  
   Section 6.4 includes references to http://www.wfmc.org/ which is the Workflow 
   Management Coalition.  

Check out the web-based workflow white paper at www.wfmc.org. Also the
Magi people, a company doing great stuff in wireless P2P, has some
very good papers on web-based workflow, see
http://www.endtech.com/articles.html They are building a wireless
web-based workflow system. In particular Bolcer's thesis is extensive
in review of workflow technology.

This reminds me, are you Zope folk thinking of the impact of P2P in
what you do? Check out the open source Magi version to get an idea of
P2P.
