I removed all my old ZopePTK product directories from my zopeinstancehom
and products from the control panel (including all ZopePTK things,
demoportal and wizard), then did a I did
cvs -z7 -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.zope.org:/cvs-repository checkout CMF
CMF (logically enough) seems to be the new CMF cvs root when you visit
the zope.org cvs web front end.

After symbolically linked the various CMF subdirs to the
zopeinstancehome Products directory, I rebooted zope and made a nice new
portal.

It still (IMHO) looks ugly out of the box, but the new portal_skins are
extremely neat, so I've started making it look more like what I'd like
to see.... It's really starting to look good I think. I was able to set
it up to use ldap authentication - I had to change something somewhere
so it makes a new member folder automagically but otherwise it seems to
work with alternative acl_users things nicely. Kudos to all the hard
working CMF crew.
