There are a number of skinning docs there; if, browsing them, you
find that none of them address the problem (i.e., even if you had
found them, you would still have been stuck), then I would venture
that you might need to write one :)

Parameterizing the stylesheet was intended to make it simple to
have a somewhat customized look-and-feel for CMF sites, without
requiring the site manager to wrestle with the guts of both CSS
and DTML to make it happen.
I'm glad we resolved the blocker -- keeping valued community
members involved is an important part of our mission.
