Hi Lois and John
Did you play around a little bit with Zope itself ? It would be helpful,
as CMF is
a product based heavily on the Zope framework itself. You should get
well acquainted
with the management screens in Zope itself and maybe you would like to
do a sweep through the Zope documentation first, print the interesting
stuff, take it to a nice place and have a pleasant reading.
ZOPE:
The Zope book is a good entry point; it will be published by Newriders
soon, but you
can take already a look into it at:
http://www.zope.org/Members/michel/ZB/
There is nice summary of the Zope How-To's and Tips by AlexR at:
http://www.zope.org/Members/AlexR/ZopeDocs
and don't miss the occasion, to snoop around on zope.org and it's exits.
ZOPE/CMF:
For the CMF there is a dedicated site: http://cmf.zope.org/
Let me forward to you an email answer given by Shane Hathaway earlier in
this list
concerning documentations:

etc. There are dozens more documents like these. I found most of these
by following the links from the right side of the page.
