[Zope-CMF] Loosing Member status on CMF update via CSV

Hello,
I am not sure if I have done this correctly, but when I did it before it has
always worked. What this is is that I csv'd an update version of the CMF
sources and moved them to my Products folder.

Well the CMF works fine, but on my old CMF_Portal which I created with the
previous version I am able to use it, BUT when I log in as a Member I am
unable to add any content or do anything as if the Member roles of the old
CMF's had become like anonymous users.

I have checked the security settings and there is no difference.

I have also created a new portal, and this works fine regestering portal
members as members and giving them member status?!

I also copied my "old" customs folder to the new CMF_skins and this workes
without a problem.

So am I missing something in the upgrade?! or do I need to go back to school
