Also, Ken, One of the things about Audio is that you can change properties in the object (like title, author) and it'll insert those into the file (for an mp3, so far) when you read it back out. If the mp3 file is stored on the file system, whenever you change a property (that's part of the id3 tag) I guess you'll need to rewrite the file. Marc
