[Zope-CMF] Q: Internal link checker

Some proprietary web publishing software can list broken links in
files in a local site, so they can be spotted and fixed easily.

Is there any work under way to add simular functionality in Zope?
What would be a decent place to implement such a beast?

I haven't found a good, standalone link checker so far.
