There is a way, though maybe a dangerous one:

  Try Shane's "Symlink" product or the product "PortableHole".

I use "Symlink". It is powerful but quite dangerous, mainly because
it is impossible to distinquish the link from the true object.

I do not know much about "PortableHole", just that is exists and
has similar functionality.
