[Zope-CMF] Best way to have multiple languages on CMF site?

I have  tried a frist solution for plone. 

In portal_actions I create portal_tabs with the Condition
python: object.Language() == 'german' or anything else.

Perhaps this also can be used in one skin to decide whether to display
english or finnish or whatever.

BTW: Are there any docs for the i18n-thing in plone?
